Dr Richard Harbury is an Orthopaedic Surgeon who has practiced in Newcastle and Maitland since 2005. After initial medical training in the UK, he undertook specialist and post fellowship orthopaedic training in Newcastle and Sydney. He has a commitment to ongoing education of doctors and allied health professionals and supervises Orthopaedic Registrars during their training. He was formerly the Head of Orthopaedic Surgical Training at The Maitland Hospital. He is dedicated to maintaining and improving his own knowledge by undertaking regular audit, research and further surgical education, complying fully with the CPD requirement of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
